Do I need to book a ticket for an infant?
      
Yes, do need a ticket.  A child less than 2 years of age is considered as an infant at time of travel.  You can book travel for infants.  A valid document to prove proof of age will be required while checking in.  Infant must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 year of age.  Booking for only one infant per adult is permitted throughout the entire journey.
How will I get to know that the reservation was booked?
      
You will receive an email confirmation of your flight booking
      
Is it required to re–confirm my flight before departure?
      
No.  You need to just show up at the Airport with a copy of the email confirmation and valid documents.
      
How do I confirm my seat assignments?
      
You need to call your airline directly to check whether you get to choose your seat.
      
Cancellation policy for flights booked
      
Each airline has its own cancellation policy. Kindly refer to the User Agreement for more details.  Namastey India charges a separate Rs.250 processing fee for each flight cancellation.
      
How do I cancel a flight reservation?
      
You need to call our customer care center and provide details of your flight booking.  Our Customer care team will process the cancellation and keep you updated about the same.
      
E–Tickets:
      
If you have an e–ticket and decide to cancel your flight more than 48 hours before its scheduled time, you can make your cancellation by calling our customer care center.   If it’s less than hours before the scheduled time of your flight, you need to contact the airline directly to cancel your reservation.
      
Paper Tickets:
      
If you have a paper ticket and decide to cancel your flight, you need to mail your paper ticket back to us within 48 hours of your cancellation request so we can get it endorsed by the airline. Send your paper ticket to:

How do I change a flight reservation?
      
Any change in flight reservation will amount to re-scheduling. You can contact the Customer care center for the same.  Additional charges will be conveyed to you for your approval and subsequent confirmation for re-scheduling.  Please refer the user agreement.
      
What is the maximum number of seats I can book?
      
You can book up to 7 seats at a time (that’s 4 adults and 3 children). If you need to book more than 7 travelers, a separate booking for the additional people needs to be made.
      
What is an e-ticket?
      
An e–ticket (electronic ticket) is a paperless electronic document with a unique confirmation number.  When purchasing an e–ticket, we email it to you within 2 hours of your booking. Simply print it out and bring it with you – along with a valid photo ID – to the airline counter when checking in for your flight.
      
How do I receive the e–ticket ?
      
e–ticket details are sent to the email address you have provided at the time you made your reservation.
      
Do I have to show my e–ticket confirmation email at the airline check–in counter?
      
Yes, you do. Some airports might not allow you inside without a printout of your e–ticket.  Please carry a printout of the            eticket.
      
How do I get a boarding pass for an e–ticket?
      
Submit your e–ticket confirmation email and your e–ticket number at the check–in counter.  A boarding pass will be issued by the Airline staff.
      
What if my paper tickets are lost or stolen?
      
If this happens, email us immediately and we’ll help you process a lost ticket application. In most cases, the airline will require you to purchase replacement tickets at "today’s" fare, meaning that day’s current published fares. Our travel specialist will facilitate the sale of these tickets.
            
      
If your original paper tickets aren’t used within a designated period of time (usually 3–4 months, depending on the airline), you’ll receive a credit for the purchase price of the replacement tickets, after deducting an application fee (which, again, varies by airline). Of course, these policies and fees are subject to change at any time – ask our travel specialist for the most recent information for your airline’s replacement ticket rules and policies. We’re bound by these rules, so we strongly suggest you keep your paper tickets safe to begin with.

How will I know that my Hotel reservation is confirmed ?
      
You will be receiving a confirmation voucher from Namastey India through email,and a copy of the same needs to be produced at the Hotel at the time of your check-in.
      
What if I don’t get a confirmation at the time of booking?
      
If a confirmation page doesn’t display once you complete your booking, check your email for a confirmation. If you don’t get an email confirmation within ten minutes, let us know at (e.g customerservice@namasteyindia.com)  mentioning your name, name of the Hotel booked and the check in/chk out dates and we’ll send across your confirmation details.
      
What is the general accommodation pattern followed by Hotels?
      
The following are the general room types that can be booked,provided these categories are available
            
      
Single Room - Accommodates a single person.
            
Twin Room - A room with two single beds.
            
A Double Room is a room with a single Queen Sized or King Sized bed that can sleep 02 adult guests.
            
Triple Room - Can accommodate 03 adults, and may be no larger than a twin room, in which case the third bed is often a rollaway bed or a cot placed in a twin room.
            
Quad Room - Can accommodate 04 adults.
      
How do I cancel my Hotel Reservation?
      

Please call our customer care on 1800 102 9200 or 1800 22 4044 for any cancellations.

      
How do I modify a hotel reservation?
      
Namastey India doesn’t support modifications to hotel reservations. You’ll have to cancel your existing reservation and make a new one.
      
I cancelled my booking before the cancellation deadline stated in the booking confirmation. When will the refund be credited to my credit card?
      
The process of refunding your credit card will take anywhere from a week to 14 business days from the time you cancel your booking.
      
How are children accommodated in hotel rooms?
      
Generally for children below 6 yrs of age the stay is complimentary and above 6 yrs of age, the tariff for child would be applicable and the charge varies from Hotel to Hotel
      
What are the inclusions in the hotel rates?
      
Inclusions will be indicated under Room Particulars when a search for hotels rates is made.
      
What is the cancellation policy of Hotels booked with Namastey India?
      
Hotel cancellation policies vary from hotel to hotel. Please see hotel specific policies for more details.
            
Any cancellations during peak periods will attract cancellation charges once the booking is confirmed. These cancellation charges will vary from hotel to hotel and may attract upto 100% of the entire accommodation cost.

What are the check-in & check-out timings at the hotels?
      
The general check-in time is 10 AM. and check-out time is 12 noon. This may vary for selected hotels.
      
Can I check-in earlier or later than the prescribed check-in time?
      
Early check-in and late check-out requests are granted at the discretion of the hotel, and subject to availability of rooms. On most occasions a hotel may provide this for a charge.
      
Can I leave my luggage at the hotel, before check-in and after check-out?
      

You can utilize the services of the concierge where you can leave your luggage.

How are cars classified ?
      

Cars are segregated into classes, and then into types.

How are these categories priced?

      
All vehicles are priced, booked and controlled by vehicle category, not by vehicle make or model. Thus only the category reserved is guaranteed. The availability       and tariff of individual vehicle groups and models will vary from location to locations.
      
Along with the rental, what are the possible applicable charges?
      

Some of the possible mandatory charges as applicable include.

            
      

Mileage/Kilometrer Charge - An additional charge relating to the total distance driven may apply.

            
VAT (Value Added Tax) or any other local taxes/surcharges as imposed by the country of rental on services provided.
            
      Other applicable fees/charges such as Vehicle License Fee & Airport Service Charge if applicable.
      
What are the additional charges ?
      

Refulling Charge - Car Rental companies mostly provide cars with a full tank, and expect the car returned with a full tank of fuel. A refuelling charge will apply if the car is returned without a full tank.

            
Drop Off Charge - An extra charge is usually applied if a car is returned to a different location from that where it was rented.
            
After Hour Service Charges - If the car is picked up or returned outside the normal opening hours, some locations may have charges for "after hours service". Please check this at booking time.
      
What are Chauffeur Driven Transfer Services?
      

Chauffeur driven transfers are for those passengers who do not want the hassle of driving around. Move around in comfort and ease

            
Our chauffeur driven transfers allow you peace of mind, since you can entrust your travel and luggage into the safe and responsible hands of trained and trusted chauffeurs who are sensitive to the requirements of our travelers, be it for business or leisure.
      
For Chauffeur Driven Transfers, how do I locate my driver, vehicle or pick-up point and coordinate for the service?
      

When we confirm your booking, you will receive a service confirmation voucher which will specify all these details, there will also be a name and number for our local representative within your selected destination.

            
You must ensure that you wait for your Driver or Representative at the appointed meeting point as detailed on your voucher.
            
Our Chauffeur will be holding a placard at the meeting point. If you are unable to locate your driver, vehicle or pick-up point, you must contact the local number or emergency number as specified on the voucher. Our service executive will assist you.
            
For services beginning from accommodation, please ensure that you are waiting at the appointed meeting point, as shown on your voucher, at least 15 minutes prior to your confirmed pick-up time.
            
You may be required to re-confirm your service by contacting our local service partner as per the details indicated on your service confirmation voucher.
      
What if I want to amend my chauffeur driven transfer service locally?
      
Should you need to re-schedule a service because of a change in travel plans, please inform our service executive as far in advance as possible to facilitate the same. Amendment requests close to actual service deadline will entail cancellation or full amendment charges.
      
Will the transfer be direct or stop en-route?
      
Private transfers are exclusive to the booked party and are point to point by the shortest, fastest or most convenient route. If en-route halt/ sightseeing has been requested or is included, then this would be covered.
      
What are the luggage restrictions applicable?
      

For services where you have luggage with you, it is your responsibility to ensure that a large enough vehicle is booked to accommodate all luggage.

            
If you bring extra luggage that cannot fit in the vehicle, you will need to cover any additional costs incurred in transferring your luggage.
            
Please note that Porterage & Tips are not included.
